I always liked angelfire better than geocities because it was easier to code my own websites. However it is sad to hear this important part of our childhood is being deleted.

To commemorate the death of geocities today, xkcd.com have destroyed their homepage with broken images, blinking text and an annoying background.

Speaking of horrible websites, how funny is it that Yvette’s Bridal and Formal comes up first when you google search “worst bridal website”? That’s some good SEO.

I started a public Wave asking if there were any girls around, and if so where they all were (I have only seen posts from men). The first response I got was “tits or gfo”, but before I could even read that and cringe another man edited the comment out (and also sent me some cool women to talk to on Wave).
