How some space junk could help protect a human right

“There should be as little restriction as possible to the flow of information via the Internet, except in a few, very exceptional, and limited circumstances prescribed by international human rights law” – Frank La Rue, UN Special Rapporteur

It’s all very well and good to say we the internet is a human right, but how do we close the digital divide? A group called A Human Right have an idea which I think is pretty spectacular. Buying a second hand satellite! I’ll let them explain:

On a side note: remember that while groups like A Human Right are working to give everyone internet access, NZ politicians (backed by America) are still trying to take it away. Don’t vote for idiots.
